Since our launch a couple of weeks back, we have received wonderful feedback in how you’re enjoying Scanfully. We’ve also received questions and comments on where you’d like to see improvements in our features. And we love that!
The first thing we focused on improving, bassd on your feedback, is the uptime monitor.
We’re still monitoring in the same way now, but we have improved the monitor service to allow for the following now:
- We will now display details per downtime period in the the Uptime Monitor dashboard. This will give you a much better overview of what happened when, and for how long.
- We’ve managed to fine-tune the monitoring service to no longer be triggered by super small hiccups. Just downtime.
These two changes will result into greater insight into the downtime events as well as more accurate information of the actual downtime:
Clicking on “view” will display all the relevant information per incident:
Now, unfortunately, implementing this change meant the previously recorded history is no longer compatible with our improved monitoring. This means that the uptime history has been deleted and we’ve started fresh as of today with version 1.2.0.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, but we believe our new and richer data available to you will be worth it. Check it out!
There’s more!
We’ve also added 2 addittional notification channels which means we now have 4 notification channels available for you:
Go add all the channels you need to your notifications!
We hope you enjoy our updates, but please do let us know if you have suggestions or questions about any of our features.
