Scanfully 1.7 now supports shareable reports for clients

When we released Scanfully 1.6, we knew the number one feedback we’d be getting would be “can I send these reports to my clients, please”. And they were right to ask, but we needed a little bit more time building that 😅.

But… it’s here now! This 1.7 release is mainly adding this: you can now share broken links reports and broken media reports through “public” links.

Share your reports

Obviously not public public, but your clients can view the reports without having an account. Instead, you can send them a direct report link and let them see exactly what is broken. This makes Scanfully much more useful for agencies, freelancers, maintenance providers, and anyone managing websites for other people.

Until now, broken link and broken media results mostly lived inside the dashboard. That worked for internal use, but it made client communication harder than it needed to be. You had to explain the issue manually, send screenshots, or pull the findings into another format. With this release, that step gets much easier with two options.

  1. Run the scan, copy the report link, and send it to the client, or
  2. Create a notification for the report to be sent to your client’s email address

This is the biggest improvement in this release because it changes how Scanfully fits into client workflows. It is no longer just a tool for monitoring sites internally. It also becomes a clearer way to show clients what is wrong, what needs attention, and why action matters.

What else shipped in this release

To support that bigger improvement, we also shipped a set of dashboard and API updates. On the dashboard, you can now select your own date format and a timezone in a newly introduced Settings page. This gives users more control over how time-related data appears across the product matching your own sense of time.

We also improved the WordPress activity log with a period selector that includes preset ranges and a custom date picker. This makes it easier to inspect recent changes or isolate a specific window during troubleshooting.

We added a support contact page with a form for subject, site, and message, which makes it easier to contact support from inside the dashboard.

Lastly, we added per-site custom request headers, so Scanfully can include headers such as a custom token with every request to a monitored site.

This helps with sites behind a WAF or other protection layer, where access should be granted only when a specific request header is present. Instead of relying on a fixed IP or matching only on the user agent, site owners can now configure their firewall to accept requests that include a custom header value generated for that site.

If you manage websites for clients, this release immediately saves time and makes your reporting far more useful. Log in, open a scan, generate a shareable report, and send it to the people who need to see exactly what needs fixing.
