Scan Timing and Manual Rechecks

Scanfully checks your site for both Broken Links and Broken Media on a regular schedule. Each scan loads your pages from the outside and evaluates what a real visitor would experience.

Broken Links scans focus on page-to-page links. Broken Media scans focus on assets such as images, scripts, stylesheets, embeds, and other non-HTML resources. While the checks differ, both scans follow the same timing model.

Scan results always reflect the most recent completed scan.

Requesting a New Scan

You can manually request a new scan for both Broken Links and Broken Media at any time.

When you request a scan, Scanfully rechecks your site from the outside and validates all discovered links and media again. This is useful after deploying fixes, updating content, or changing providers.

Manual scans replace previous results rather than stacking on top of them.

Why Changes May Not Appear Immediately

Scanfully does not monitor your site continuously. Results update only after a scan completes.

If you fix a broken link or media file, it will remain visible in the report until the next scan confirms that it loads successfully again.

This approach avoids false positives and ensures Scanfully reports only verified behavior.
