These options control how Scanfully scans your site.
Max Depth
This controls how many levels deep the crawler follows links starting from your homepage.
A depth of 2 means:
Homepage → linked page → links on that page.
Users with large sites may increase depth. Smaller sites can keep it low for faster scans.
Sitemap URL
We’re using the default sitemap URL by WordPress. Your SEO plugin should redirect it to theirs. But, if you want to add your specific sitemap, we scan every URL listed there, even if it isn’t linked from your homepage.
The sitemap must be on your domain.
Extra Pages
Here you add individual pages that aren’t linked anywhere.
Useful for:
- Landing pages
- Private pages
- Old articles you still want checked
Ignore Pages
If you don’t want certain pages scanned, add them here.
Typical examples include:
- Test pages
- Temporary pages
- Thank-you pages
Ignore Broken Links
Some links appear as broken even though they work fine in a browser. You can enter URLs here to prevent them from being reported again.
